Whenver I turn on the key, the 30 amp fuse blows immediately. I have taken off the fenders/bar racks and the gas tank and unwrapped all of the wiring looking for a bare wire short. According to the mechanic I should find a bare wire. I have not. I notice that if I disconnect the rectifier regulator assembly I get the Neutral and oil light and the fuse doesn't blow. When I plug it back in the neutral light and oil lights do not come on. Since I have broken it down, the fuse does not seem to immediately blow, but the light thing with the regulator seems odd. Any suggestions on where to go from here? My wife uses this quad to pull a trailer and feed her horses, I'm either a hero here or in the dog house. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
