I have one more ?
I have about 2 hours on that pipe now......and the whole pipe is a bronze color now, except for the first 4-5" from the head......it is already blue'ing......
is it supposed to do that ......or am I running a lil leaner than I thought?

 

yikes turning colors that fast doesnt sound right but i dont know i got the x-6 on my stock 400ex motor- adjustd the needle a bit put a 155 main and a 42 pilot jetting in it and i LOVE it!! lots more hp- i would like to give curtis sparks a big smooch! but DAYUM she's loud now- mine hasnt discolord at all

I got talked into payin more for the stainless.........

 

I just rejetted again......here is what I did......
165/170 mains
2 1/8 & 2 3/8 turns out on the mixture screws......

it still has the blip around 4500rpm......but I guess I can live with it.......

 

Yeah, it isn't a big deal. My stainless Yosh has turned colers like a sum beotch. Park it in a dark shed at night and let it idle and watch your header glow red!

 

Hey, your header was red too? My header on my yosh used to glow red. Why was that? Was that normal or did that mean I was a bit lean?

 

mrmonk- You can get most of the red glow out by upping the pilot jets from 22.5 to 25 or 27's.
