I called about a belt for a 2000 Kodiak, the salesman chuckled, then said " $120, can you believe that " those were his words, not mine. A high performance belt for my Polaris was $37. Prices for quad related items has gotten out of hand. I dont mind paying a fair price, but $120 for a peice of rubber is ridiculous.

 

Stay Away From That Dealer. My price quote was $60.00

 

Try this one. One ujoint for front drive shaft on 95 wolverine remember one ujoint $ 110 for one freakin ujoint. They wanted $10 for each bearing cap and $70 for the spider. so i ordered one out of Dennis Kirk for $35.

 

The fact that he "chuckled" should tell you not to go back there...Who was thgis dealer? (so we all know)..... You are right ... That is unbelievable!!

 

Guys its not just Yamaha dealers putting the screw to you, Honda does it to.

I wanted a trailer hitch for my wifes Honda. The dealer wanted $99. I asked him to double ckeck to make sure that was the right price. It was. I told him to forget it. I found a hitch on line at Cabelas.com $19.99.

 

How about $27.00 for two 30w headlight bulbs on my Banshee?? I can change complete lights for that with Halogen bulbs.

 

They qouted my buddy $47 for a waverunner spark plug cap in Lawton.

 

how about i paid $30 for a muffler gasket for a TRX250.

It was a freaking cardboard tube..! Not really but that's what it looked like.
