Default Messed up Raptor...Need Axle!!!

I had a guy pop me good on a mortocycle today.I was rideing around my neighborhood and I went to take a right turn and I thought I heard something.I turned around and about that time a motorcycle drilled my right wheel. He got pretty messed up.The bike flew into a ditch and he went a little airborn and hit a telephone pole.I think he broke a couple of ribs. He's a freind of mine so hopefully he's ok.I think he tried to dodge me and his wheel nut cought my wheel.Screwed my rim up too.
Anyways I guess i'm going to need a new axle.Should I upgrade or just go with stock?Whats the price difference between a stock one and a aftermarket one? Please help guys.Sorry I dragged this story out I just thought i'd share it.
Thanks fellas,
James

Aftermarket, DEFINATELY....

I have a Lonestar Axecaliber and its great. Ive heard bad things about the Durablues, but they are less expensive... So it all depends on what kind of riding you do. If you dont hit many jumps, i would think the durablue would be ok, but if you plan on taking it MX or XC, where you will beat it up more, then i would go with the lonestar.

www.lsracing.com

that's the lone star site

a 2+2 rear axle is alittle more then a regular lone star axle. so you could go with that and better your handling.

Those jokers are kinda high.Seems like a good axle though.I'm sure it's well worth the money.I'm going to look around a little more first. That may be a little out of my league.Just curious, how much is a new stock axle?
Keep'em comin if you don't mind.

$369.99 at K&K Atv...

Ive had good experiences with them. They get your stuff out the door fast and have a lot in stock. But there may be other places that have them for cheaper, i dont know. Just shop around.

EDIT: Their site is www.kandkatv.com

What size axle would I need?I ride in a lot of trails but its mainly to get to a place to jump hills and such.Sounds like people like the 2+2.Is that 2in on each side or what?I'm a little new so bare with me.Alot of people seem to like the lonstar. Is it really adjustable or are their extra things I need to buy?I've also heard people say good things about an axle called RPM I think was.Whats the price on those and where can I find one?Someone told me that I will need a wrench to torque the axle nuts.Is this true,if so where can I get the wrench?
I'm heading out of town tommorow and I won't be able to get back till Monday.I would like to figure out what I need so I can place my order Monday if possible.I need to have this thing going by next Saturday so i'm pretty desperate at this point.Sorry to be pushy guys, just in a little hurry.
Thanks guys,
James

Get a Lonestar off Ebay. I bought mine from a guy on there for under $350 delivered to my door. I'll sell you my straight stock one for $50 if you want to go cheap.

Here are a couple LSR ones on Ebay:
Axle 1
Axle 2

The aftermarket ones are adjustable in width by adding or removing a 2" spacer collar on each end. Honestly, the Lonestar axle on my Raptor is the best thing I've done to it. It's a whole new machine.
