my friend has a 93 blaster and its pretty trick out full fmf got top end rebuilt bout 3 years ago. he got it bout 6 months ago and did'nt have a problem until he blew his motor and crack his piston. soo he got it back bout 2 months ago and everythin is runnin fine until last weekend. i went ova his house on fri and we rode it pretty rough revin it really high. so the next day went ova his house and rode it in the mourin then we went back out again around 3 and started it up. it sounded really wierd it did'nt seem like the engine was revin normal it sounded real low so i put it in first drivin in first i could'nt even shift into 2 it just stalled out. we were thinkin of sumthin like it was'nt gettin enough gas to the carburator or maybye the low end blew? what do u think happned

ok one of 3 things it is i bet...
does his parking brake work?? on my blaster i would set the parking brake and it wouldn't work, but the rev limiter would still kick in. make sure his parking brake isn't set, lift up that rubber flap next to the clutch and makes sure his cable isn't extendd out any.
second thing that it might be, His spark plug
3rd thing, his floats my be sticking.
does it bog and ping and pang when you gas it?
the parking brake limiter doesn't allow the engine to rev over 2000rpm. wich is slightly over idleing speed.

thankx for helpin out crispy i don't think it his parkin brake but i think u may be right bout the spark plug. his floats may be stickin cuz it idles really low and it does bog and stalls out when u get into second and yea when u press the gas it bogs and won't rev right. thankx for helpin out again next time i see him ill ask him if he found out what was wrong
