Hello,
I purchased a Yamaha Warrior a couple months ago, because I have a friend who is in to ATVs, and I wanted to go riding with him. The person I bought this Warrior off of said that it was a 1990, but I think he lied to me. I am beginning to think it is a 1987 or a 1988 model due to the placement of the headlight and the rear axle carrier. It is a red/white warrior. Below are two links to some pictures I took of it when I was changing the bearings on it. Can anyone tell me what year it is?

Looks kinda like mine.....I have an 1987 warrior but is blue and white....Take the serial # off of the engine and if you have a clymer manual then you can find out what year it is.

Yeah, the other Warrior is my cousin's 1994 Warrior. It is very nice :-). Where would I get one of those manuals? Anyone have a link? Also, where do I find the serial number on the engine?

Yeah, looks like a pretty early one. Mine's a 88 and it has that style of headlights, but it does have 2 instead of one. I don't really think that's even a Yamaha headlight.

the 87's and 88's all had a pull rope incase the battery went dead. See if yours has one.
