yzf450 kicker

Default yzf450 kicker

has anyone actually riden a yzf450 with the electric started and battery removed? if so, how hard was it to kick (forward or reverse) and does it start easily? and a true weight wih the electric start and without. not yamaha's spec either

i dunno but a raptor would be a b!tch to kick start, that thing requires so much compression...

Check out member "selector" he has his YFZ down quite a few pounds and uses the kicker off the bike.

Riden and own.

Easy to kick.

13.5lbs less w/ battery, starter, starter gear, fan, wires, etc. removed.

I will not/cannot go back to electric start - I even cut the battery housing out as seen in this profile...

you removed the electric cooling fan also? well, i guess it won't work without a battery. is yours a factory delete electric start or did you do it your self?
