Ryan runs good. If sam coeds beat him it would be the first time roosters old quad outran him. lol Samcoeds has never had a slow ride. You see any robertson built quads??

 

I heard through the grapevine that samcoed was going to humble some quads up this weekend, somebody please keep us posted.

 

I saw robertson there, but didn't see any of his raptors run. I didn't watch or run in the bracket racing, was busy with quad.

I blew out my airbox last sunday in aledo, and didn't know it. I spent Friday scratching my head why the DS was running weird. My fan went out, so the DS was running hot and had to let cool. Messed with gearing saturday since I switched to 12 paddles, worked on pushbutton shifter (still not working), messed with programmable CDI. Finally I found 2 cracks in the airbox saturday. It took a while trying to come up with a way to keep the airbox pressurized. It was late afternoon by the time that was sort of fixed. Then as soon as I got out on the sand, I broke a wire killing the ignition, when my suspension bottomed from rough drag strip. Went back to Jeep to fix that. It was around 6pm when I next saw any built 4-strokes to run besides dunedevil. I didn't come across any single cylinder 4-strokes that were running faster than I was at the level of boost I was running with the bad airbox. The craycraft raptor wasn't running NOS when I was out there. Samcoeds was about even with me in a short race. If someone jumps off the line or if I bog off the line without enough boost to launch, then I lost. Later I turned the boost up a little for a run. Ran some banshees but not the 4-strokes. The new turbo setup is not 100% tuned, so it's a little behind where I was with the old setup, plus the new turbo is a little smaller.

 

I didn't see DSMIKE there Friday or Saturday, but steve was there.

 

Was it crowded?? I heard zombie was there.
