Does this cam require the valve guides to be machined down?

Ward, I got by without having to have my guides machined down. Every motors clearances are different so it is really hard to say whether you will have to machine them or not. I havnt had any trouble since I put mine back together but according to web cam they suggest machining or getting there shorter guides and they also reccomended to me to get springs up to a 500 lift which they were still working on at the time to get made; most aftermarket springs for the Raptor are good up to a 450 lift. By the way I am running the springs good up to a 450 lift and have not had any trouble also. Hope this helps with your question. Slim

Dollarbillz is working on a new project. The 685 is the drag race cam.

I saw Dollar's signature the other day and was shocked to say the least. Something like back on gas and no nitrous.

I would like to try it out, but its going to HAVE to wait awhile.
