Default 685 Webb cam

The 685 is a great cam. Those who say it is useless down low have stock carbs..and cant get it to run right with them. I have 0 problems with the FCR's and the 685.

I will have to agree with RaptorRcR on the 685 being a great cam and I am still running the stock carbs with some slight modifications but really nothing major done to them. I do run some power additves that can improve on some of the areas that the stock carbs lack such as throttle responce. If you spend enough time and effort to finding out some info on the carbs and get them dialed in with some slight mods the stockers can do a good job. Then again you could get the FCR's and dial them in and the bike will run great too. Its all up to the individual. All in All I enjoy the 685. Slim

i never said i did not like the cam i just want be needing it no longer and it dont matter what carbs you have as long as they are dailed in right but since we are on this topic last i remerber a 686 with a stage 2 with stock carbs on gas ran faster than a 727 with fcr's and the 685 cam on alky i have a 686 with stock carbs on alky with the 685 and the stage 2 bike beat me to so im thinking in a 300 ft race the stage 2 is alot better now i know from looking at dyno's the stage two has alot more torque about 10ft lbs more than the web 685 now sparks has a cam just the opposite of the 685 on the intake and exhaust lift i would like to try one of these cam's too thats .
