Still got stock gears, and it is still for sale.....

 

Still on my original gears also. I use reverse as much as needed, I drag race in local events and
practice my launches all the time starting in 2nd. No signs of fails yet, but a 686 is on the way, and
I might have to worry a little more then LOL. I guess I'll find out soon enough if they are going to last.

I'm still running stock gears with no problems. I feather into reverse and try to use 2nd for starts. Thinking about gearing down a bit more with the sprockets to save on the clutch.

 

I still have 01 gears with a 686 stage II engine mods. I drag race it all the time, and use reverse all the time. I haven't had a bit of trouble.

On the other hand my uncle bought his raptor the same time as me. His is completely stock, and has recently started to grind when it goes into reverse, but the tranny hasn't gone out yet.

 

Same here i still have the stock 01 gears and head out to the drags every second weekend. Also not a stock raptor, i'll just put it that way.

 

I am still running 01 gears with a yoshi pipe and stage 1 cam. Hopefully will have a 686 and port job to go with it soon.

Stock gears, no motor mods till January....Then it'll go out I'm sure.

Enjoy the track behind my house and the nice southern Indiana coal mine strip pits. Always start in neutral or second gear.

 

I have two 01 raptors, one with 12-1, one with11-1, sparks cams and pipes. I havent had problem with the trannies yet. We ride the dunes almost every weekend.only problems are pistons breaking
