I think that yamaha rivals(maybe even surpasses) honda with the warrior. They've got to be one of the most bulletproof atv's ever built.(with the exception of the honda 250x, they just never die!)

Pretty much, you can tear up a warrior and it will keep running. Its not so much that they are hard to break, its just that they dont care after you do it. They are like a zombie from a movie. Mine did manage to blow up though, only after the oil pump quit and the head ran for 4 hours with no oil! and even then it still would have kept running if one of the rocker arms didnt stick. Only weak point I see on the whole bike is the air filter and plastic geared oil pump. Im the only person I know of whos had the oil pump problem yet though. The airfilter is fixable either by putting a big ol smear of grease behind the stocker before you put it in or by buying a proflow or other aftermarket intake which will give you more power since you can run with no lid.

No kidding though they are awesome I've seen old 80s ones beat all to heck with no fenders left that still run perfect. You can't go wrogn with them.

it's great to see the warrior getting the respect it deserves. especially with all the new machines out. you'd expect people to take this opportunity to bash "Ole Reliable". DueceRoosters comment about seeing the warrior without plastic really hits home. in the woods of NH and ME, if their not riding 4x4's or 3 wheelers.....their on a warrior. strangley enough...without plastic. lol

if i had an opportunity to ride deep into the woods of canada or alaska....i would be more likely to take my warrior over my Raptor.
