Bypassing the ignition switch/Banshee
#1
I'ld like to remove the ignition swith from my Banshee. What wires do I need to connect to do this? Thanks,

This is correct.
But let me clarify a little bit:
Off the key on all newer Banshees there are 4 wires. 2 of them need to be solder together as it was stated above. The other 2, do NOTHING. If you follow the 4 wires down to the first plug, it only has 2 wires on the other side of the plug. You can also twist and solder all 4 wires together and it will work, seeing how 2 of the wires go no where do nothing.
Let me explain why yamaha does this. On a 4 stroke motor, you have to ground the coil to stop the motor, so the other 2 wires are for that system. yamaha only has ONE key for several quads.
Just my $.02
