Raptoraz- dyno numbers?? who knows 65-120 depending on the dyno. While i think 5k is a lot of money that is what it is. A lot of guys are willing to spend it. (not me)
1000 of it is FCR's
rod and balancing is 400 (i would not put a new rod on with out balancing)
stainless steel valves 250 (oversize)
coatings
lightened this and custom that, new this, machined that, new this and so on so on.
plus Bob needs to eat every once in a while.
Try building a killer pammi 760 and see what it cost. I know of 3 trinity 727 that ran more than this 730 with less done to them. How much does howardstern have in his Kenz motor?

Yamaha660R don't forget the bore job. I'm just saying this incase you were thinking of a stock bore piston. Just because it says stock bore does NOT mean that you won't need to bore your cylinder. Just incase you didn't know.
If the override tranny is included in the 5K you are getting a heck of a steal.
If I had it laying around don't think for a split second I wouldn't throw 5 grand at my motor tommorrow for that kind of muscle.

well i have been thinking about spending the money over winter to get my raptor to be a monster. maybe i should give a call to craycraft and ask for some pricing and stuff. i haven't really decided what to do yet, but this forum will definetly sway my opinion.

It's a lot to think about. I would suggest you decide how much you want to put into it and then give Bob a call and tell him. I think you'll get the most bang for your buck with Craycraft. And fast and friendly service on top of a good running engine.
