Default blaster electrical/lighting

yesterday my front and tail lights were working fine but tonight when I turned on my lights neither of them worked. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might fix this problem? I'll retrace the wires tommorow to see if there is a loose connection for starters. Any other suggestions?

Taking a voltage reading with a multimeter is the first thing you should do assuming your bulbs are good. Always go to the last known source of power first, then proceed through wiring until you get no reading. At that point you should have traced down your problem to a broken wire, bad connection, disconnected wire, or a defective switch or other component.
