I like the performance of the Alba pipe.
I can tell you that with the standard set of discs they give you with the spark arrestor, it puts out 98 dbs exactly. Add 4 more discs to it and it goes to 99 dbs.
While I do have the Race End cap also, I can tell you its much louder but i didnt have the db level checked with it on.
Putting the spark arrestor on does take away from the power for sure, but if your not racing its not that big a deal.
On the other hand, if a spark arrestor is required but the db level is not a concern, then you can keep adding discs untill you run out of bolt to bolt them on. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
Heres what I do to get past the rangers.
I only put on a few discs at first just so I can get into the park.
Then once inside the park, I pull another dozen discs out of my pocket along with an allen wrench and add as many as I can without being TOO noticable. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

The Alba pipe comes with 12 disks, fine for a piped Raptor. I'm currently useing 18 disks, it's quieter than the open end cap and it's spark arrested with the disks. I've used the open end cap once and the very top end is the only place I noticed any difference in gains and it wasn't much over the 18 disks.
