a stock warrior does aaround 55. when you talk about keeping up with a warrior what type of riding are you doing. in the woods a good pipe cam and carb will do wonders. tyhe parst are every where because thier the same as the warrior. if you need it to handle better get som alltracks and some shocks and you'll be amazed at the diffrence

In the review of the 2000 wolverine on this site they clocked it at 58 mph.
Something doesn't add up - I'm sure the Warrior is faster than the Wolverine, but you guys say that the Warrior tops out at 55-56mph?
I guess you can't believe everything you read.
I have a 2000 Wolverine and recently put a trek bicycle speedometer on it (I'm not paying $185.00 for Yamaha's optional speedo) Anyway, I haven't got my number dialed in quite right yet, because the last time I rode, it gave me a max speed of 196mph. (I'll have to keep working on it)
BTW if you want to beat a warrior on a wolverine all you need to do is chose the racetrack - make sure it's nice and muddy where your 4wd will have the advantage.
