right... and what does a 4-stroke need.. oil change and valve adj.
i just thinks 4-strokes are better... although i wouldnt mind having a shee for the right price..

shees are extremely reliable, but like any 2 stroke, it is going to need to be rebuilt after a few years, even more so if it is a modded 2 stroke becuase its running hotter. BigScary- I think you raptor is worth at least 6000, i would say more around 7000 where I live. Good luck trying to find a shee [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

bigscary i know where a shee is for sale the guy on here goes by the name Texasgrizz ( big phill for everyone that know's him) he want's to sell his shee the only thing done to it is pipes and filter this bike is very clean and will haul a$$ for what it is just ask anyone of these people they see this bike all the time down here 14mins, raptorridertx, raptorcr, mbrp,crafty, dsmike, rooster well just anyone down here

 

Because were not talkin about an old quad. The 04's just came out a little bit ago so that tells me the 03's are still pretty darn new. Plus isnt that 6199 without taxes freight set-up? Id rather buy a built quad if I was gonna then go out and guy a brand new one and have to put all that money into it.

 

Plus Scary's quad is far from stock. Take that 04' price......add taxes, handling fee's, prep fee's registration fees(depending on where you live), THEN add the prices of all the things hes added to his quad that is after market. You'll find the finished price of that 04' SUBSTANTALLY higher than Scary's. Most people do that, They just see the price tag and say,"wholly smokes what a rip. I can get a brand new one for less!" Then after they add the things to thier "cheaper" 04' They're actually higher than if they had just bought the older model yr. with all the mods already on. Just food for thought. i say stick with the raptor. banshees are cool/ in many ways sound, looks, power, but think about suspension, rebuilds, and what is coming in the future. it would take a hell of a banshee to get me to trade that raptor.

I would keep your RaPToR for sure BigScary. Seems like youve invested too much time and money into it to just go off and trade it. Go head and sell your 20's (winter is coming anyway) and buy an old Banshee and build it.
