Default Cleaning a Raptor

What is the best thing to clean a fourwheeler with?
It seems impossible to get the headpipe and engine clean on my Raptors.....Any Suggestions??

use a pressure washer but be careful with it around the engine seals

a chemical called proclean

put it on the engine, tires, plastic, ect.......you can put it on anything and that shiz is awesome!

Default Cleaning a Raptor

A little carb cleaner for the engine and a little muratic acid (6M HCL) on the headers. Careful with that acid. Use gloves, goggles, and a resprirator. It's pretty harsh.

Two words....Simple Green!! It cleans everything,smells good,and will not kill your grass to boot! I bought a new bug sprayer and mixed it in there 80/20..Works awesome.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Exactly right raceready. I've been using simple green for about 10yrs now, and its the best stuff out there. You can use it full strength or deluted, and it won't discolor/damage your plastic or aluminum. Top notch stuff!

I thought I may have figured something out before everyone else did but I guess I was wrong.Simple Green or Mean Green is awesome.It's my number one product around the house.

Default Cleaning a Raptor

how would i go about cleaning my header?
i ride in east texas and arkansas alot, so there is caked red sand on it, it looks like rust, but its just sand that i cant get off using a pressure washer.

just clean it after every ride to keep dirt from building up..
