Polaris 325 Magnum 4x4 Vs. Kodiak 400 4x4
I just found this forum and was surprised by all the great information on here! My dad and I are about to buy a 4 wheeler. A guy close to us sells late model used bikes and we are looking at some of them. He has a 2002 Polaris 325 Magnum 4x4 that is in extremely good condition and he also has a 2002 Kodiak 400 4x4 that is in good condition. We like the looks of both bikes but do not know which would be better. We are going to use it mainly for hunting. Speed is not a concern at all for us. The main thing we are looking for is durability. Which of the two bikes would you reccommend and why? Thanks in advance for your help!

Polaris 325 Magnum 4x4 Vs. Kodiak 400 4x4
personally i would recommend the kodiak, its a lighter, sportier bike, i know thats not what youre really interested in for hunting, but my father has a polaris magnum 325, its a good reliable bike, but god how slow! and im not saying just in comparison to my blaster, its a slow bike. its too big too, it really feels like youre driving a tank, which is a problem in hunting, cause its so wide and long that its hard to get it deep into the best hunting areas because it simply wont fit. the kodiak is going to have more power too, because of the larger displacement, as well as the lighter weight. its really up to you, but if you want to use it at all for any fun riding, trails, whatever, you will want the kodiak, its just a lot more fun. plus the 4x4 capabilities of the kodiak are better, again thanks to the weight, the polaris tends to sink down in mud while the kodiak does a better job of floating, which of course decreases your chances of getting stuck. in the end its up to you, hop i helped.
