I think I am going to buy my dad some insurance on the new Wolverine that I bought him. On my last ATV I decided to buy it from Progressive (Honda 2002 Foreman 450) and it was a little over $200 a year which I though was a bit high. My friend told me that he bought a mower for his ATV and his home owners would cover it if it ever gets stolen since it would be considered a lawnmower ( I think he has State Farm). Has anyone else heard of this? I'm going to call my State Farm agent to verify this info. It seems silly to pay the $200 a year on insurance when you can give a few more hundred and get the mower and still be covered. Are there any other companies that charge less than $200 a year to insure? Progressive always seems to be high.

 

Progressive tried to flat out rob me. I now pay $68 each a year for my Kodiak and 400EX through Merkel Ins. $250 ded., full coverage.

 

I pay $100 a year for full coverage.

i pay 268 on my pred thru all-state.

Wow, I just got off the phine with Progressive and it was $465 a year! I asked her why the new Foreman only cost $200 a year when I had the policy and the Wolverine $465. She couldn't explain it. I think I'm going to go the lawnmower route.

I have full coverage on my Raptor and it is around $100 a year. (Farmers Insurance.)
