Probably not - but I dont know.

As my homeowners insurance company explained it - if it's got wheels and a title it needs it's own policy. ATVs are not covered by homeowners or automobile insurance. Also, If the ATV is stolen from the back of your truck - the auto insurance DOES NOT cover it. If in doubt call the ins rep and make sure they understand the question - give them scenarios.

I use Markel, never filed a claim but they seem squared away.

Timmyboy, it was my friends (now my brother-in-laws) garage where they were stolen out of. He was trying to sell his quad and a guy came over to check it out. He already had the quad pulled out of the garage and had the door closed so the other quads wouldn't be seen. A few days later is when they were stolen. We don't know if that guy was the one who did it or if it was a coincidence. If it was, the guy probably thought he hit the lottery when he opened up the garage and saw 3 quads.

It still burns me up just thinking about that time in my life. Maybe I'll get lucky some day and find them or those responsible. The things I would do....

This is how I dealt with Insurance companies in the past -

They are as good as they get when it comes to a claim.

I have had Farmers, Progressive and a few others that I cant remember at the moment. They say they are good but when it comes to claiming anything its argue argue argue......

Since I have been with State Farm insurance I have had nothing but good things to say about them. I have never gone over 5 days without a claim being paid, which most of them I have had were like next day. I pay 143.00 a year for FULL replacement coverage for my quad ( $7500.00). If it ever gets stolen or broke or whatever.

I also have state farm INS. I pay $89.00 a year on my blaster and $120.00 a year on my polaris both have full coverage and my deductable is $250.00.
If you have your home and car with them, they will give you a discount on your ATV so give it a shot it may be worth it by the way I am reading these posts and see what everyone else is paying.
Also if you have an ATV saftey class and a motorcycle license it will greatly help with the price even more.
