I read in the latest atv sport from some pro rider that Kawasaki/Suzuki are planning on releasing a new 2 stroke sport quad. This makes no sense since 2 strokes are supposedly being banned in '06. I will look through the mag tomorrow and find the article to type it up. Anybody else heard anything about it??

 

If they can get the emissions low enough or say its pure competition only, what can the tree huggers say? If it was fuel injected, power valves, and had catalytic convertors im sure it could get by emission laws. Would be pricey though, like boat motors.

 

you know, zook and kaw might be going for some kind of bike just to get the 2 stroke era to go out with a bang. like some 500 twin or something. even if theyre gonna lose some money off it, just to say that they made the last great 2 stroke. or just to attract the attention of us 2 stroke addicts before its too late.

Ok I read the article again. On the latest atv sport cover there is a custom built 250r built by somebody at ct, he was the one that said kawasaki would be coming out with the new 2 stroker but i cant remember his name.
