Default Warrior Gearing

Hey,

I've been looking at various gearing calcs. on the net and was wondering are the gear ratios in a Banshee the same as the Warrior? They both have 6 speed tranny's, but have different sprokets for the final drive. The Warrior is 13-40 whereas the Bansh I believe is 14-42. Presuming the tranny gear ratios are the same I've entered my numbers for wheel size etc. and at 7500 rpm I come up with around about the same clock speed as I've gotten on my trail tech. So I'm assuming that the gear ratios are the same.

Having "established" that I'm trying to pick a front sprocket. I'd like to go to a 12t front and was wondering if anyone out there has one on their warrior and if they realized a significant gain in low end performance?

Thanks,

Trev
