380 kit for Warrior?
#1
I am going to be making my Warrior in a 380. I was wondering some sites that make 380 kits for a Warrior, I dont know of any sites. I was going to be getting a 380 kit, .450" lift cam, titanium valve springs, and a graphics kit. Doesnt the 380 kits come with piston, seals. gaskets, circlips, etc.?

I dont personally know of a 380 kit but I know a JE piston is available to make it a 366 without need of a sleeve or stroking the crank. I believe that's the least expensive route. Check www.rspconcepts.com for a piston, Hotcams was going to make a Warrior cam but I dont know where they sit currently on that project. I'm planning to upgrade my 98 Warrior as well, if you get it done post your results.

Hey guys, I've been there done that. If you want your warriors to run put a 435 kit in them with webs all around grind cam, stock carb with jetting, and a 16 tooth front sprocket(yes you'll need all 16 teeth for the tourque). I've had this kit and it was awesome, and vey reliable, I ran it for 1 year then a buddy of mine bought my bike and racer it for 2 more years, then sold it and it had never been back apart. My kit was from mickey dunlaps four stroke tech. I did this back in 1997, at that time it cost alot but now it's not that bad.

Like Mr. 45auto said, it would require resleeving the cylinder to bore it to 380cc. 0.080 over is a 365 or 366 what have you and that is the highest you can go with the stock cylinder. There are many big bore options for a Warrior. FST has a 366, 435, and 446, Alba has a 400 kit, Powroll has a 365 and a 430, and Trinity has a 425 stroker. That is all of the bore and stroke kits that i know of. Im sure there are a few more, but I dont know of them off the top of my head.
