Default raptor oil tank over flowing/won't start

my raptor won't start and when i checked oil level, it came gushing out of the the dip stick port on top of the oil tank. i'm really freaked out about this, because i'm leaving for little sahara wednesday! please help me! it'a 2002 660 raptor

One of the needle valves may have stuck on one of the carbs and flooded the engine. Does the oil smell like gas? Check the air filter and box to see if there's gas that got in there also.

wow! the oil does smell like gas. how do i fix it? i just bought this bike saturday from a dealer. does this happen often?

Sometimes when they sit for a while the float needles and seats get crudded up with dried fuel. Sometimes all it takes is a little tap with a screwdriver on the side of the bowl to get rid of it. Other than that clean it out.

Since you just bought it, take it in, should be no more than a day fix if you yell. 3 weeks if you are too nice about it.

ask em to check and make sure the overflow lines are not plugged, it should be readily apparent when your floats are leaking it will spill all over the ground, in rare instances down inside you motor too

My rapotor does the same if i check the oil right after a ride...is this normal or should i beable to stop the engine and pull the dipstick out of oil tank and not have oil come out.....I have ran about 3 tanks of gas through this atv...Have i damaged the motor?

Yes, I would take it to the dealer and let them fix it. Thats too new of a bike to start working on it.
