Hey WTEC Killer toys you got there. 2 questions.. How do you like the WTEC? those are trick as hell, how is the handling and is it holding up well? Also, arent you paranoid sticking that bad boy on your "trailer" dealie mcbob? the Z and the WTEC should switch spots!
Later guys, have fun, dune season is almost here YAAA HOO> Halloween trip, here I come!

One more opionion here. I've got a piped and jetted Raptor with no airbox. My wife has a stock KFX 400. We ride trails, pasture and back roads.
The KFX is quick through the tight stuff because it is wide and low plus the weight distribution is better. You don't have to worry about giving it too much throttle. It's obvioulsy harder to lift the front tires over obstacles. It rides rougher, the seat is harder, steers harder, and it vibrates more than the Raptor. (It actually put my feet to sleep on a road ride) It seems to handle landings about the same except it rebounds faster. My wife stated that she would rather ride my Raptor but the power scares her.
It is absolutely boring for me to ride the KFX, as I am used to the power of my Raptor. The torque is definately fun. I should mention that I am tipping the scales at 270# and that compounds the need for cc's tremendously. My friend who rides with us has a stock Raptor and weighs in at 150#. He handles his machine without any difficultly. His actually keeps up with mine because of my added 120#. He also thinks the STOCK KFX is a good quad for someone without the need for a hard pull. (I tried to phrase that in a manner to spare feelings of KFX owners)
Don't forget to factor in that reverse! Comes in handy when cutting trails.

Hayseed..
Thanks alot for the info, sounds like some more good backing to buy the Raptor.. =)
It's nice to get the feedback from people who have rode all of them... Everyone likes to be a little proud of their own machine so it's nice to get an un-biased opinion.. hahaha
