how to clean outerware

on my k and n filter how do i clean the outer ware just rinse it fromt he inside out w/ water?

Actually yes, but I use like Joy or Palmolive to get the oil out if any.

I use the same filter cleaner, PJ-1, or K&N filter cleaner on the outerwear. I just spray it on and a minute later rinse from inside out.

I use the K&N cleaner on my outerwear also. Then like you said just rinse from the inside out

Simple Green seems to work the best if there is any oil at all. I even use that stuff on the k&n filters. They come out like new.

Yeah, that simple green is sweet stuff! I spray it all-over the quad after a pre-soak, and all the grunge comes off with the hose...no rags or spounges!!
