Default 16 Tooth Sprocket For Warrior?

Anyone know where I can get one for a decent price? and will there be any problems with the size of the sprocket messing with my cases or guards or anything like that? Thanks

I'm running a 15t and it works good. Dont know if a 16 will fit - havent tried it. It's gonna be tight. The 15t seemed to put a lot of pressure on the bottom chain roller so I took it off....no probs yet.

Thanks Fisher, It rips through the gears with these mods but when i want the top end it revs out too fast i dont like doing that. I already have a 14 tooth in there so i need more gear yet the 20" tires messed it up too.

Yep - I've found the 15T front, stock rear sprocket size, and 22" rear tires give a decent top end speed. The Warrior 1st/2nd gear is low and still doesnt lug. Might be too tall for real tight stuff or dunes but seems to work well for overall riding.

Hey Fisher I just ordered a 16 Tooth sprocket fron Dennis Kirk they even have a 17 Tooth coming in soon for a Warrior so a 16 should be fine. I'll let you know how it goes.

You might want to make sure the swing arm still has full range of motion once you install the 16T sprocket. if not, you'll wear out the output shaft bearings in a hurry. I can't remember if the chain is tightest in the fully extended or fully compressed suspension, but check both.

Good luck and better riding.

something else you could try is a smaller rear sprocket. its a little more money but you wouldn't need to worry about the chain roller problem and it would give you more clearence. what ever you do good luck!
