The Warrior is faster in top speed, for sure, and proved it every time we rode old railroad beds to get from one riding area to another. But once we got into the woods the 300EX would creep away from the Warrior. SO....in a drag race, take a Warrior, tight woods with lots of turns where you're usually in 2nd - 4th gear, take the 300EX. I used to ride with 3 Warriors back then, so I speak from experience here. I've been riding quads since '85, dirt bikes since '77, first mini bike in '72.
They're both great quads, just better at different things. The shorter wheelbase really helps the 300EX when things get slow and technical. And a Warrior will not "SMOKE" a 300EX, they're pretty close. Some people use the word smoke a little too freely.
So, D3athShad0w, unless ALL you do is drag race......it really doesn't matter that the Warrior would
&#@$%'ing win. I'm talking about riding in the real world.
Hopefully this thread can die a peaceful death soon. RIP

Dude lol - First of all throw some wheel spacers and a wide axle on her and she handles like a champ - I have no problems whipping around trails w.o that stuff either (upstate NY forest). I will say one thing when I threw my holeshots on there and ditched those bubble tires they make a WORLD of a dif and the thing takes turns so much better. So put some better tires on and maybe a set of wheel spacers and the warrior is still faster and will handle better. In stock form maybe the EX handles better but I had NO problem taking turns fast and hard in the stock state it all depends on how you ride - lean like a ***** and spin the tires a little and she will whip around just fine.

I ignored this thread last night... but since it's STILL alive I may as well comment. I'll agree the 300EX has decent performance for what it is, but so does the Warrior. I've ridden and like both, own one, but would rather have a Z400 ha. The question was which stock for stock would win, and the answer is the Warrior. That's it. Almost any quad can be MADE to beat another, we know this.

Personally I don't know why this thread is still alive though lol. Even though I started it, I now know the answer. The answer to my question is "no". A warrior won't "smoke" a 300ex, but it will beat it.
