would a warrior smoke a 300ex?

i agree with you there about giving the 300exd credit. they are great machines, but they are not the fastest. im not a honda basher either, i had a 87 250X and that thing was an excellent quad for me. i wish i would have never sold it. im just saying the warrior is faster than the 300ex. just my .02

I have personally witnessed a stock 300ex and warrior drag. They are so close in a short run it comes down too the rider. Of course, in a long run the warrior pulls away. The 300ex does make good use of those 13 screaming horses.

There were mixed results but by their estimation, the 300ex was this sport class winner. I would buy a Raptor 350 over the 300ex based on a little stronger motor and nicer ergonomics for a larger rider.

Like he said, a drag race isnt a major determining factor in a shootout. A shootout (at least an accurate one) should test the bikes in all kinds of conditions and whichever one racks up the most points or is the best overall (might not be the best in some areas, i.e. the 300ex in a drag, but is better in most other areas), depending on what kind of shootout you are trying to do, is the winner. If you want a drag bike, then dont rely on all-around shootouts to tell you which is better, rely on a drag shootout.

im sorry im even replying to this but let this thread die. zip zap or whatever his name is now has his answer a stock warrior WILL beat a stock 300ex period. and yes maybe the 300ex would do better on turns or hills or whatever but thats not what was asked. this thread is ridiculous it repetitive and almost a year old its done. let it go.
