Hmm...those were the full kits right? That means they have the FCR carbs, thats prolly why they beat you on the top end. I put myself on the Sparks list a few weeks before I decided to go Craycraft and left it on there just to see how long I will have to wait for an engine kit...still no call. I'm suprised that the Sparks kit completly whooped you though? Was it really that bad?

Ernie660R - I have virtually the same exact setup as you. I'm really thinking about a drag pipe. Are you running FCR's? If so what is your jetting? and at what elevation?
Big Bubba - I was beat pretty bad. I drove their bikes and there was a huge difference in performance, sound, low end, top end, speed, WOW...totally different bike.

On our way back from flag we were kind of looking for "36th street". I've been invided up there to a wash to drag race is that where you go? And will you be making Glamis trips this season?

I've never heard of any sand drags on "36th street". The only ones I've seen and attended are at 339th ave. As for Glamis trips, I'll be going on Halloween, Thanksgiving, New Years, and MLK weekend. With a few other dates mixed in as well.

Glad you like the Sparks bike. I have had mine about a year, have ran both cams. I like the hi-rev better for the dunes. The mid-range works very good on the hills, I ran it in Oregon in June. It climbed everything at Winchester Bay. With the stock carbs 160-165 is what worked on mine, at sea level. I assume with the mid-range cam he had you use the stock carbs.

Hmm...I thought the Craycraft bikes were sapost to keep up with the Sparks? Even though you had a mild kit you shouldn't of gotten completly whopped! How much HP do those mild builds make? My build makes almost 60 HP on the dyno that I used. I know those Sparks bikes don't make much more than that if even more. Just makes me wonder a little.

I have a Sparks 690 w/ the hi-rev cam and it is a beast. The key to riding the hi-rev cam is knowing how to gear it, so you can "get on the cam." It almost reminds me of my banshee. It takes a big man to admit that he got "whooped." Any Craycraft quads in Alabama or Georgia I can run against? I know would its like to lose I am a Raider fan for life
