Hmmm a Sparks pipe on a Craycraft motor might just be the ticket.

Raptor660Fam, I've ran Klotz Nitro power additve/Nitropropane/Extreme Power Additive; lots of it when drag racing; some trail riding. Really no secrets on the mixture that I want tell just add more or less and jet it properly. I have never had the Stage 2 in my personal bike but I have been around a couple bikes with them. I have run the 727; on pavement with runs ranging anywere from the 1/8th mile to 1/4th mile runs I was in front and on dirt 300FT. AND 400FT. runs it was who jumped who out of the whole; its good racing between us two. To compare lift/duration of the cams the numbers are listed for the cams on there web sites; Cant remember them off the top of my head. Hope this helps, Slim

14mins - I would only put the pipe on to see if that is one of the problems. Run the hill once with the CT, rit it off and try the Sparks pipe. Easy to tell a difference on such big hills. As well as jetting. Our jetting is dialed in perfect. It takes 7 mins and 42 seconds to change both main jets with the fcr's. I know the FCR's are definitely not as tempermental as the stock ones. That butterfly vacum stuff is too difficult for me to understand had some weird stuff go on with the stockers. I am recieveing a 46 tooth today and I have jet to find a 45 tooth. Rocky mountain doesn't carry them.

The sparks motors mounted the carbs the same as mine with the stock setup. I'll measure the inside diameter of the CT and see what the diameter is. I bored it out pretty good. It is actually a little larger head pipe than the sparks x-6.

We all started in second gear with a quick shift to third and let third rap out. No we did not do any flat drags. Hills only. I had them out of the hole for about 30 ft.

garyc660R - Thanks for the info. I'll probably go with a 45, the 46 is probably too low. I did try a 13 tooth in the front while we were out their, and I was screaming in second but really got beat because second was not high enough. Didn't have enough gears to mess around too much.

SLIM660 - where do you usually get the adative? And what does that do to your jetting? I found specs from webb and megacycle cams and the stage one cam but I can't find specs on the hotcam stage 2?

That 727 sounds mean. I'd love to see it run.

BRO I know you are at the fire station reading all of these posts. I'm refering to my uncle that has the Sparks bike. He is probably reading everything I'm writing to make sure I don't screw up any of the stories or to see if I'm talking smack saying that I will beat them next time.

I get the Klotz directly from Klotz and the Exreme Power Additive directly from them. Do a search from google and you should be able to find there web sites to check them out. The jetting needs to be bumped up on the Klotz about one jet size per ounce and the Extreme about 2 jet sizes per ounce. I tend to lean toward the Klotz as being the better product because it is 50% additive and 50% coolinol which helps to keep engine temp. down because the additives generate more heat due to the large amounts of oxygen they add to your fuel. The Klotz is 50.00 dollars a gallon to your door and the Extreme is 12 dollars per 16 ounce can without shipping. Both are good products and can give good power increases if you jet properly. Try some I think you will like the difference in performance. I ran 16 ounces per gallon of fuel of the Klotz this weekend when I went trail riding but I put bigger mains in yesterday morning to go up to about 20% Klotz to a gallon of fuel for a little more grunt. We'll see how it goes. For some reason Hotcams list there numbers on there cams different but i'm sure someone on here knows the specs on them to compare them to the web and megacycle cams. Slim

Thanks for the info. I will probably try it sometime. So one jet size per ounce, and you said 16oz for 1 gallon. Would that mean 16 sizes up? Just trying to get numbers right, not the best at that. Thanks

Rap660fam- sounds like it is moving in the right direction.

Those sparks motors are not the same as FSW's motors. Those had custom made aluminum intakes.

Patscruisers- should have keep the rappy. I was counting on you to go to FSW's 3 and roost the king and assand for me.
