Default New Top Speed

Hi all,

Just thought I'd let ya's know I posted a new top speed on my Warrior this weekend ...

109.9km/h. (68.3mph)

Stock 13/40 gearing, long straighaway with slight downgrade, throttle pinned, temp ~ 8°C

I've gone on this same route earlier in the summer with temps up around 24-26°C and topped out at 102. Do the colder temps really help that much, or did I just get a better run I wonder?

Anyway .. now that I know that the Warrior will go as fast as that I'm stepping down to 12/40 gearing for a bit better low end torque.

L8rs all!! I'll have some new pics to post from the weekend, so stay tuned

I member the 1st time I went that fast on my banshee, I almost shat myself. But with 17/40 gearin on pavement, the top speed is about 95. But around 90 it starts to have bad shake.

I can't see me going that fast on a quad!! That's scary fast dude. I got a new a$$hole torn for me by a shee this weekend .. 3 of us were riding back from a local pit near my Grandmother's; me on the Warrior, my cousin on his 250X and his buddy on a Shee carrying a passenger and a spade shovel!! I ripped out around my cousin and the shee and took off .. the shee caught up with me a few moments later doing 95km/h into a turn .. I was pinned to the bar and he roasted the tires off the shee and took off leaving me in the dust and flying rocks behind him!! He almost bit it though cuz there was a car coming the other way around the corner!!! Shee's are wicked fast!!

I got my 12T on order from Royal Distributing .. $10 for the sprocket (Canadian that is) not too bad I'm thinking.

Oh and check out my new page here in the forume .. got some pics posted from this past weekend (Canadian Thanksgiving)

66 on a stock Warrior?? You must be very light .. I'm around 165 or so
