Default Lost Blaster Compression

I bought which I believe is a 92 blaster a month ago (it has an N in the 10 digit of the vin) It was working fine until one day it started to sound like it was missing. We turned it off and when we went to start it the next day, it wouldn't. I put a new plug in and it started but was very hard to start. We rode it more and still had a hard time starting it though. We drove it back home and turned it off and now can't start it again. Now the kick starter feels way to easy , seems I lost all compression. I removed the spark plug and it had some black crust on it and it looked fouled. This spark plug was changed not to long ago at all. Does this sound like a broken gasket or more like rebuild time?? I don't know what this bike has had done to it from previous owners. It does have an FMF pipe and header on it. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks!!

No longer than it takes to pull off the head, do it and have a look, also look at the reeds.

Chance is are it's time for a rebuild. Just tear the head off and take a looksee. Check the reeds also like dieselhead said.
