Default Problem with sparks pipe on a raptor help needed!!!

I just received my Sparks X-6 stainless exhaust and after installing it I started the bike and noticed a exhaust leak where the one head pipe connects to the mid pipe right right off of the head it would be the pipe closest to the shifter side of the bike.I tried taking it back loose and reinstalling it thinking maybe it hadnt mounted up well but all was fine.I was wondering if I should use some type of exhaust sealant tape or maybe some high temp silicone to try and stop the elak or call Spark's on monday and get them to send one that has a better fit any info will be appreciated.

Never seen one on a 300EX but I had no problem with my raptor X-6. Call Sparks they can explain how to install with out it leaking!

Did you replace the exhaust gaskets? You might want to try replacing them first.

try running it for about five minutes to get it warmed up and then tighten it down slowly.
