I just bought a 94 Kodiak 400 with only 500 miles on it, not sure about what they r going for but seemed like a good price to me. by the way I got it a from and older family friend who only used it once a year to get to his deer stand so u might not be able to find the same price elsewhere. 3800 seems a bit high, but hard to tell unless mileage is very low...check www.kbb.com or nadaguides.com for dealer values

This may be to little too late but I am sure you can do better than that. I bought my 2000 for 3250. I have seen many in this year range for that price or less. Another good place to look is on Highlifter.com forums. They have a section to buy and sell. If you are patient and look on these forums you can find one. A warning on ebay or atv trader: There are alot of people trying to pull scams. If you buy from those places, go pick up the quad in person. Dont do the mail thing if it all possible. If you must do it by mail, use an escrow service. But I dont recommend anything but person to person transactions when it comes to atvs. To much money at stake and two many crooks in the world.
