Default Gasket Maker? (help)

I know you can use certian silicone to make gaskets, but what kind can you use to make the gasket where the very top of the head goes on that has the rocker arms? Can you use just High Heat Silicone from napa?

I use the ultra gray. You want it to withstand oil more so than heat. And use very little just a bit more than a thin film smeared on with your finger.

Do you have a name for it? do you tighten it down when it's wet or wait for it to dry then put it together?
