EBC brake pads on blaster?

I read on blaster central that EBC brake pads work best on a blaster.
1. has anybody out there used them and how good do they work?
2. I also heard that they were really hard on the disk itself (they wore it away quickly). If anybody out there has been using EBC brake pads on a blaster for a period of time, have they been really hard on the disks or are they the perfect working brake pad?
