This template thing seems to work very well. I met a guy at Dumont that said he did the same thing to his Banshee and it screams very well also.

Hiram, How does the shee compare to your old 686? On HP and Handling?
Now, there's no comparison, in HP the banshee has way more on the topend than the 686, let's just say even my fingers are swore from having to hold on for dear life. and as far as handling I love the banshee ability to just slide, and with this crazy new power I can hit a wide turn running wide open by just releasing the throttle for a few seconds before and as I start the turn punch it and the rear tires break loose and I just slide the rear end as I lean and it makes it just a easy sweet 80+ MPH slide turn. That same turn on the Raptor could never be attempted turning at anywhere near that speed even with my +3 setup.

great post thanks for the info! I can't wait to get some pipes on my shee. I think I'll probably go with DMC 916 though. CPIs are freakin' awesome pipes though.

Thanks BigScary and TJw6981.

DeuceRooster the DMC are killer sounding pipes and perform good and any pipe you put one will be a big difference from the stock ones, just be sure you know what your looking for: lowend, midrange, topend or maybe a combination and then ask around.

I recommend it for anyone with a mechanical skills, a steady hand and lots of patience, here's where I got mines Racelogic but they only make them for 2 strokes and it was easy but very time consuming when your as picky as me, everything had to be perfectly symmetrical before I was satisfied in total about 12 hours of porting for both cylinders.

That along with the air filter will be my next mods. I heard the timing advance will help with the bottom end
