Cylinder, head, carb boots and carbs if you want them to tweek the stockers. They'll bore the cylinder to their specs for the piston, gap the rings for it as well. Do a valve job, install the new springs if you choose, port the head and send it all back with the other parts like gaskets, cam and whatever else etc for you to put together.

It depends on what all you want to have done. If you want it ported and a 3 angle valve job and the intake boots matched they'll need the head and intake boots, if you want them to bore it they'll need the cyl. if you want a rod too you may want to send the whole engine.

They'll put the rod in or you can send them the crank to have it put on and balanced or you can just buy the rod.

If you get a new rod it will be balanced. Bob does not half-*** anything. I have seen raptors that did not have the crank and rod balanced and it showed.

Yeah I would not recommend just buying the rod and having anyone put it in, and have it balanced for sure.

Because stock rods have been known to disinigrate. I chose not to go with an aftermarket rod after my stock rod disinigrated (not while I had this 686 kit). I may or may not regret my decision one day.
