Default Heated grips?

How do heated grips stay warm? where do they ''plug-in'' at? For those that have them, how do you like them? are they bigger than other grips or not comfortable?

I have the ones that go under your stock grips. They get uncomfortably warm without gloves. If you're getting grips, get a thumb warmer also. nothing like having toasty hands and a numb thumb. Wiring is easy and they come with instructions. The reason i went with the undergrip ones is that i can put any grips on i want and they'll still be warm...

I got them from my dealer but almost any atv store has them, look online and you will find them all over the place...

I've always had heated grips on my snowmachines so when the quads came around it was only natural. easy wire to them up just make sure that were u wire them to, if it's not direct, is capable of handling a good load, ground included. my new grizz LE has a grips with a variable controler. something new out I guess. Would not be with out them or my windsheild.
