I was wondering if anyone had any comments on using semi-synthetic oil in my wolverine.Good or bad?

 

I use Mobil 1 full synthetic in mine. Best stuff there is in my opinion. Dont beleive that B.S. about clutch slippage. BTW I also believe its OK to run the regular automotive Mobil 1 too. Crotch rockets run it, so I think we can too.

 

I ran Mobil 1 (love the stuff) in my crotch rocket once - 1000cc. And the clutch slipped terribly. But we're talking a hundred plus horsepower vs. 15-20 for an atv. I would put it in and try it out. If they don't slip, great,- If they do then just drain it out and put the regular stuff back in. No harm, no foul.
