Are Graydon Proline nerfs good?
#1
Has anyone tried a set of Graydon's new nerf's? I was going to buy some ac's until i heard that they weigh a whopping 30 pounds! The graydon's only weigh 11. and gytr's weigh 12. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim

I have not tried them on a yzf..but I use graydon nerfs on my banshee with no problems at all...they seem to hold up well. I had to drill my foot pegs for the install though..but it was no big deal and I do not think it weakened the pegs any.

I slapped the graydon's on my yfz, and have pics under my icon. Put them through a couple races and they are a high quality product!! The way they come, they stick outside the wheels 2", which is great if plan on widening the quad for mx. But for xc, I had a buddy help me and we sinched them in tightly so they sit 1/2" inside the rear wheels. But other than that, they are heavy duty, and feel very light in the box, can't say that I weighed them. The strap set-up seems very efficient also, and the cross brace nylon webbing is very strong! I would highly reccomend them!
