heres my opinion.. now mind you i own a raptor.. but... if the 450R is the "new breed" 250R then it should make sense that it will follow in the footsteps of the 250R and be competitive for years... but.. in all honesty id give my raptor up for a 450R or a yfz any day

The Honda won't have an FCR carb. I heard its also supossed to be using smaller valves, and one cam that actuates all the valves vs. DOHC.
The cam is setup to act like DOHC maybe? I've heard the cam and valve parts of this discussion on other forums so that may be off.
The fact that it doesn't have an FCR carb is stated in the Honda stats.
I think Honda won't be able to touch the YFZ450 engine wise.

 

yah but... as with the 250R some work will have to be done but in the long run..????

 

OK then...I have another question. Which one is faster...2005 YFZ860 or 2006 TRX850?
