Thats very true. Though, I am not sure on the cost either?

 

I still have the 01' gears and I ride it pretty hard (drag & hill racing) don't beat it up though, and keep it maintained. I would definitely not rule out the 01's either. It would be cheaper in some cases like bad350twin said to buy a 01 and upgrade 2nd and 3rd (400-600). Check out www.14mins.com to check on the upgrade and give bob a call

 

Ask the guy to see the maintenance slip showing the valve adjustment after the 10-20 hour break-in period from the showroom and any other maintenace records. If he says he does his own maintenance, ask to see what supplies he has on hand to maintenance the Rappy. That includes a service manual, plenty of oil and oil filters, filter cleaner and filter oil. Look for undercarriage damage, and if you are serious about the quad, you can have it checked out by your favorite shop. Look at the top side handle bars, brake ressy, and plastic to see if it has scratches, indication of it being rolled.

 

Thanks guys for the info... I found a 02 Red/Black all stock for 3,250 I have not looked at it yet..
