go to duncan racings site and follow their break in procedure for 2 strokes.

I cant remember exactly, but run it through a couple of heat cycles and then a few slow paced rides at no more then half throttle or so and let it cool all the way.

Again, go check out duncans site. They give you a good description.

just give it some and call her good.
or do what most people do and let it heat up and cool down over and over again.

Let me tell you what I did. I would let it always warm up 5 minutes without even touching the throttle before any riding then I took off easily and rode it very easy below half throttle for 5 more minutes then I went ahead and started giving it full throttle bursts that lasted no more than two seconds then released the throttle to 1/4 and then another full throttle blast and keep repeating and I keep riding this way loading up the engine and releasing for thirty minutes never leaving it at any one speed remember this is a systematic hammering of the throttle and then easing off a bit and then again hammering it again and again to load up the rings, after the thirty minutes let cool down AT LEAST 30 MINUTES, and then repeat.
You will notice the bike getting faster and faster with more lowend and then engine being able to rev out farther ever time at little more after each cycle, after doing this about 10-15 times you will notice no more improvements and thats the sign of a properly broken in Banshee.

Now thats just what worked for me with great results
