Grizzley 660 rear shock adjustment??
Any input on the best/easiest way to adjust Grizzley 660 rear shocks? I could not find a wrench to fit, and ended up using channel locks wrapped w/ tape on the front shocks. Rear shocks seem hard to get at any ideas/help is welcome. I'm running 27" 589's and ride hard. What shock settings work best??

I use my buddies wrench that KAwi gives you with a VFORCE but what your looking for is a spanner wrench here is a pic

Most Yamaha dealers sell a spanner wrench, and I bought one myself for my grizzly. However, Channel-Lox or a large Pipe wrench will do the trick just as easily. I would, if using the latter two, wrapp a rag around your shock to keep from chewing it up, though.

Grizzley 660 rear shock adjustment??
Tried a spanner wrench from my dealer, turned out to be the wrong diameter. They could not give me an answer on an actual part # for the correct wrench. We ended up using a channel lock w/ tape around it on the front shocks. Guess that's what I use on the rears after taking off the tires. What shock setting is everyone else running?? Trying to aviod the body roll when riding fast. I had a Raptor w/ a wide axel b4 the griz. The body roll of the Griz. at high speeds is quite the task getting use to. Has anyone ever looked into a steering stabilzer?? Just a thought. Thanx for input.

The settings really depend on the type of riding you want to do...but for fast, you may want to try setting 4 or even 5. My biggest suggestion is for you to purchase an Elka suspension. The stock shocks, quite honestly, suck. The fronts are horrible, and give you the biggest issue compared to the rears, IMHO. I've talked with Elka myself, and with others who run their suspension on the grizzly, and they state it is a day and night difference. You also gain a couple of inches in suspension travel, as well as lowering the center of gravity by about an inch. Supposedly it really diminishes the body roll issue for fast trail riding. I will be ordering my set after Christmas...as they are a tad on the spendy side.
