You will have a blast in about 3-5 inches of snow, after that you better put it in the garage, or get a set of chains....

Yeah I go out from time to time in the snow on mine. Groomed snowmobile trails are the best I think. I've tried riding deeper snow and power (reasonably deep for a quad at least) and you can get around ok but don't expect much acceleration. I stayed in 3rd and 4th gears and tryed to be light on the throttle. You can be in 5th or 6th but if you are trying to accelerate it just spins the tires faster without really moving any faster. Also, if you have an aftermarket swing arm skid plate take it off. You will high center all the time in the snow because it's flat.

If you do go on groomed snowmobile trails and are riding at higher speeds, here are a couple of things to look out for:
Higher speeds generate heat on the sprockets, chain, and brakes so snow will melt on them and actually ice up because of the cold weather. Just keep and eye on it.
On groomed trails be sure to keep it on the area that is groomed. There is an edge where the grooming ends and the untouched snow begins on the sides of the trail. If you are flyin down the trail and one side of the bike gets over that edge, it will almost always pull you off the road.

ROFL... chains on those tires... i highly DONT recomend that... chains will snap under high speeds.. and will fly all over the place.. some kid up here had some on a raptor and he hit 3rd gear.. the chains busted and he smashed up his plastic and cracked the back of his helmut wide open.
so just dont do it.
