Default YFZ Durability?

Has anyone reallty tested the durability of the YFZ's front end? I am asking because I am leaning towards buying one, and do alot of woods racing and riding. I have also been known to rub a few trees from time to time.

Thanks,
Ryan

if you hit a tree bad enuff... no front end will take it... they have the square a-arms because they say they are stronger than round.

Default YFZ Durability?

I popped a tree the first day out on my YFZ after wheelying over a water puddle doing some woods riding.. hydroplaned (3rd gear) and went off the trail.. hit the front left tire square into a 20 inch diameter hardwood at about 5 to 10 mph after spinning off the trail.. no damage except the handlebars bent a bit forward on the left side due to my weight being leveraged on them. No a-arm problems at all.. was very surprised at the strength of the YFZ front end.

I've tapped a couple trees already, and it held up just fine. At the 12 hours of america race I only saw 1 yfz that broke a spindle. And I think it was aftermarket as it was a pro team. But that race was fast, and not many spindles can take a tree in 3rd or 4th gear at a high clip! The quad is very durable!
